Cosmopack 2025: Cosmatic celebrates 20 years of experience in the field of lipstick production

The solutions on display at Cosmopack 2025 at the Marchesini Group Beauty Stand A9 – Pavilion 19 will include those developed by Cosmatic, a brand of the Group’s cosmetic division specialising in technologies for the production of lipsticks and lip balms, which is celebrating an important milestone this year. The company will celebrate its 20th anniversary at the Bologna fair: since 2005, Cosmatic has been designing and building innovative machines for the cosmetics industry, becoming one of the first companies in Italy to create lipstick moulding machines. The company, which became part of Marchesini Group Beauty Division in 2021, is part of the Lombardy cosmetics district, a hub of 500 companies that alone produce over half of the make-up used worldwide. 

In order to satisfy the requests of customers who are increasingly looking for versatile, customisable and technologically advanced solutions, Cosmatic will exhibit an SM 1200 at Cosmopack 2025: a compact lipstick moulding machine based on silicone mould technology, built entirely in mirror-polished stainless steel, with a completely smooth work surface to allow for quick and easy cleaning. 

The technological cycle of this solution, which can produce up to 1200 pieces/hour with a single operator, includes various phases ranging from mould heating to dosing, cooling up to -20° C by forced air circulation and a demoulding phase. In addition, pick&place solutions are available to automate the process and facilitate the exchange between storage and the dosing table. The lipstick production machine is equipped at the fair with silicone moulds, but it is also available with metal mould technology that better adapts to the new trend of products with natural or aggressive ingredients for silicone nozzles.
